Till now Kashmir is only targeted for violence/ War/ dirty politics in Movies. . But, this movie showcases a emotional/ love perspective/ bonding. Action/ direction/ actually appreciable.

#Sargoshiyan presents a very refreshing, unique n hitherto unseen picture of Jammu n Kashmir. The natural locations are beautifully captured. The emotions are simple, sweet, positive n optimistic. There is no training camp, there is no bearded terrorist n there is no boring patriotism. Good to see talented n senior actors like Tom Alter, Farida Jalal, Aloknath n Shahbaz Khan together in one film. Hats off to the director n his team for crafting this venture, without being commercially exploitative. Rating 3/5.

Kashmir is such a heavenly place,how could kashmiri people be different from this beauty.most of the people indeed don't want any conflict and through this film the director has beautifully portrayed this.kashmir welcomes all

I am happy and sad being the first reviewer of this wonderful film on IMDb. Happy because I am the first one to review it and sad because since its release in May 2017 no one has reviewed it on IMDb. The theme of the movie is to seek the soul of Kashmir and its Producer & Director who happens to be the same person is indeed successful in doing so. This perhaps may be the only movie in recent times to be devoid of violence and all that Kashmir is unfortunately known for. The movie is worth seeing for Kashmir's natural beauty itself not to speak of the beautiful story and 2 or 3 melodious songs woven in the film. This film has not caught box office's attention due to lesser known actors or due to the team's lack of marketing reach, but is one of those films which is gradually going to be seen on word of mouth or social media comments. This movie is worth recommending to be seen.
