Highly recommend you check this out. It is awesome :)
Nella is a likeable character who's all about acceptance, kindness, helpfulness and respect. The graphics are simple yet beautiful 2D, similar to season 1 of Shimmer and Shine. Most of all, our kids aged 6 and 3 thoroughly enjoy the show.
I watched a couple episodes.
The animation looks bad for 2020. The characters are dumb. It looks like an elementary school project.
I'm glad this show didn't come on during my childhood era or it would have dumbed me down.

Look, it's not an awful show, but it's just as far from being a great one (watch a few episodes of Bluey, for instance, and the difference in quality feels like an abyss).
If it managed to do just one thing very well - animation, art direction, characters, writing, voice acting - but nothing rises above mere adequacy.
I was about to say that all the same I didn't have a particular problem with the show either, but actually I guess I do: the voice cast are all adults with annoyingly pitched up voices. The female characters all sound like valley girls on helium.
Still, there are glimmers of promise. Trinket had the potential of being an interesting character, but instead she comes across as a superficial ditz - unless that's supposed to be funny.
At the end of the day though, there's no accounting for kid's taste. I know from experience. This is just going to click with some kids, and fair enough. There are worse things out there, I guess.

I've been putting off writing a review for a while; I simply became distracted. But I got around to writing this review. And even though I'm 36 years old, I love these animated "Magic Girl" TV series, especially those for preschoolers. After watching a few episodes of this Nick Jr. Series on TV, I fell in love with the entire series and wished it was available as a "complete series" on DVD or Blu-ray, not just a DVD with a few episodes.
The series is about a princess named Nella, who, with a magical necklace in the form of a heart, changes from a princess to a knight. Nella uses her magical skills and the support of her companions to solve challenges, demonstrating that even a princess can save the day.
I truly hate that little jerk, Sir Blaine. He's the only character I hate. Anyway, as I said, I love this series. When it comes to the magical girl series, I also like Disney's "Sofa the First."
