Invincible

If you were into "The Boys" you will definitely be into this show, a realistic version of what superior beings would actually be like. Blood and gore check, great voice actors check, fantastic soundtrack check (recent episode included a track from the group Nine Inch Nails), great story check and dialogue that actually feels important and emotionally powerful . Only thing is that the animation could be better, but it's still great and some of the villains get repeated but it's following the comics so I can't really fault it for that. Omi-Man,Cecil, Mark and Allen the alien voice actors/characters carry this show!

It's 2025 and I just started watching Invincible and now I'm mad at myself for putting it off for so long. My brother said he was going to start watching it because of all the great stuff he heard about it and so I said "why not?" If I didn't like it I would just bow out. Well, I not only liked it but we binged the entire three seasons as fast as we could. The only good thing about putting it off for so long is that we didn't have to wait the year plus in between seasons and were able to watch them all at once. You can tell it was created by The Walking Dead creator because almost the entire cast is in this too, among many other stars. This is so much more than another animated series. It's so brilliantly written that has a plot you can't help but want to follow. On top of that it has the character development of a great movie and is beautifully animated. I can't say enough about this series.

I almost didn't remember the second season. It was blurred and recalled as very boring. I had to repeat it and only then binge the third. It was such a great time and much better then I remember from the first experience. This series worth my time, so I gave it another chance and got exactly what I've anticipated to get.

It is so well crafted and has such good characters, but it seems that the core of the series cannot tell us anything new in this genre. "The Boys" has something different and new, except hardcore gore. This series is still not "The Boys" and probably will never be, but it absolutely defeats Marvell shows, with any difficulties.

The evolution of the characters - main and side characters was well made, and the show's flow is remarkable, but seems that maybe it has nothing else new to sell anymore. The end of the season gave us new direction, except some other new enemies and the morale issue is going to be played very well and hard, but other then these, everything was kind of "normal" - if that can be a description to this series.

Boy falls in love with (old/new) girl, with one of the weirdest love stories I have ever seen. Family rules, with another family member that matters. Side stories about a buffed alien, Rex changes his ways, Cecil gets a short background story, and we learn once more that heroes and villains can die easily or cannot die in any way, if they are interesting enough.

I don't like the use of multiverse, but this show makes a good use of this concept. It was almost tolerable for the plot to be mixed with massive use in other universes and this season this act got int high gear. The last episode had no need to use other universes, but found his super Villian, that remained to be explored and seemed like a flower that still didn't have the change to be fully blossomed.

It seems that almost all Invincibles' enemies are gathered not to let him enjoy his love life forever, but in that way, we got nonstop action from every and each direction. Personally, I would like to see wrapping of several rivalries, but there is still a lot of magic in this series that doesn't let me the chance to really complain. Yet.

So heres my Review of (INVINCIBLE) S1 it's a really great satire show of a whole bunch of characters that are inspired from DC Comics, Marvel and Darkhorse comics and etc. And there are some things in which I am excited to see in the future seasons ( and planned live action movie) more of this review in the next slide.

Ok so most of the show is really great a lot of talented voice actors and actresses. For example theres a Giant Cat Villian and he is voiced by the Classic LionO VC from Thundercats and soooo many cameos.

My One negative with the show is Amber because I think in my opinion she was poorly written in the last episodes Aka she had no real goal just there really.

My favorites are the twins and Robot, JK Simmons is probably the best choice as a main character and Invincible reminds me of MCU Spider-Man but at least he grows a lot more in character development than MCU Spider-Man.

Overall, I'm pretty psyched to see the future of this show and a possible live-action movie in the works. 9/10; just give it more episodes and a higher budget.

I have no clue of the source material but happy they kept it animated. Not what I was expecting but epsidoe had me hooked!
