Parker Plays

This is a very funny show, ParkerGames is my favorite Youtuber and he is hilarious! I have This show on demand and I have the whole series set to record if I have enough space on my DVR!!! This show in my opinion gets a 9/10! I hope this show has a second season in the future!!!

A lot of people are saying that this isn't a quality show because of the fact that you can find the same stuff on his YouTube channel (ParkerGames). While, yes, that may be true that he can be found on YT, that does not mean that his channel or the show itself is low quality. He is able to be his same, true, wonderful self on television, which is ruled by scripting; even with scripted parts, he still is able to get his humor and personality in. Also, some people may be able to afford TV, but not internet. I know many people that are in that same boat, and since they don't have internet, they can't watch YT to get an experience anywhere near what you get from this show. Another complaint that people have is that his jokes are lowbrow. Well, you have to remember who his main audience is: kids and teens. If you are an adult, Parker will be like things that you either love or hate, it depends on your sense of humor. I personally love this show and his channel not only because of Parker being the main character, but the authenticity of the show. People say that he doesn't deserve a show because he doesn't have a lot of subscribers (539k), but he does things that even people with 10 million don't do. For example, he recently gave a fan in the hospital a shirt of the highest quality for merch for each one purchased by anybody (it's like a buy one, get one free, except the free one goes to a fan in the hospital). I believe they were sold for 20 dollars each, so it wasn't a moneymaker for him either, he was just being a good person. Also, during May 2019, he did a charity challenge in which he would donate 1000 dollars to charity if he couldn't beat 12 games in that month (he did not... he was going to donate either way though). When I look around his fan base on YouTube, he has the most supportive one that I've ever seen. He not only impacts the lives of his fans, but he also allows their love for him to motivate him to do more things for them. Overall, he has definitely deserved this show, and I hope that there will be many seasons to come.

Okay clearly Disney ran out of ideas. I admit this show is good enough to be on youtube. This show can be a great YouTube channel. But Disney was like ' hey youtubers are successful, why not make a show about a guy who plays video games like a YouTuber.' What is the point of this show? Cancel it.

Disney literally just found a lets player (and not a particularly funny one at that) and gave him a show. And... That's it! It's basically YouTube videos ported to your television. There's not much more to say. If you want a more in-depth premise, just look up Parker's actual channel! You'll get the exact same experience. It's a lazily made show and really proves to me how little Disney cares about Disney XD.

This is really funny and fun to watch especially for gamers. I can not wait for a season 2 and i'm glad this is a show.
