Avis à la une
This is a very lame jungle adventure movie with no real jungle feeling to it and the plot is deplorable (a bunch of whites rob jungle natives of their diamonds and shoot dead dozens of natives like flies on the way as a white jungle girl who has been living among them collaborates in all this atrocity because she fallen for one of the guys), but Edwige Fenech completists might nevertheless like to check it out as it is one of her earlier starring roles (before becoming the queen of Italian crime thrillers). For the record, she is scantily-clad (but never nude, at least in the tv version I watched) and, yes, very beautiful.
Do you know that weathered old story about diamonds at deep lost continent, more specifically in Borneo where a greedy man teams up a bunch of mercenaries among them a skillful geologist to certify the quality of the rare gems, to get them wondering sharing the priceless booty? Well it's exactly the Italian plot draw up by the screenwriters on duty, the journey is leading by tough man Clint Loman (Roger Browne) entering in a rain forest to find out the diamond spot supposedly nearby a large waterfall on their affluent creeks.
Suddenly they stumble with a local natives whereby has a gorgeous Queen of the jungle Samoa (Edwige Fenech) actually a white girl left there after his old father went to die on previous quest, for many weeks they searching the whole area to locate the precious rare gems. It ends up fruitless, however someone finds out a large amount of diamond stored in a cave, possible from a volcano on outskirts, as a matter of fact this stone is sacred for them.
Seemingly the whole picture was shot at large sound studio at Italy due bright colors, it was blended by a massive stock footage from unknown pictures previously shot on location in Asia, therefore added in the movie, mainly the huge waterfall, the eye-candy Edwige Fenech was so bountiful on sexy sequences to the extent of letting the male viewer slobbering, great and lavish jungle scenario, funny spicy adventure, worthwhile a look for Fenech only.
Thanks for reading.

The adventurer Clint (Roger Browne) travels across Borneo with a bunch of rogues and geologists on the search for a diamond mine. In the middle of the jungle, they meet a beautiful woman called Samoa (Edwige Fenech). Hardly a surprise that Clint falls in love with Samoa, but trouble with the natives begins when the diamonds are found because diamonds are holy stones to them.
This is a typical jungle adventure going by the unwritten book of rules. I'm sure you have seen several other movies already where a jungle queen rules over a secret kingdom and greedy men are disturbing the peace when they are looking for gold, ivory or diamonds. Same old song here, nothing particularly bad about it, but nothing good that needs to be mentioned either. Except of course Edwige Fenech who looks gorgeous in whatever she is almost wearing.
