New cast, generally sex on display

Buck Adams laments his racing car accident in Part 3 of this popular series, made watchable by a new cast of busty beauties and the pleasant sun & surf locations.

A well-preserved Amber Lynn takes over as captain of the lifeguard station, has lesbian sex and talks tough to the new Moondog (Alec Metro) but doesn't do much else. In fact, other than the five sex scenes so little happens that a "To Be Continued" card is superimposed on screen, saving plot for next time.

Silliest scene is a Cyrano de Bergerac parody, with Bobby Vitale as Sean feeding poetic lines to Buck as he romances busty blonde J.R. Carrington up on the terrace of the lifeguard tower, winning her over and climaxing the show with anal sex.

Anecdotes
There is a greater emphases on comedy here than in Babewatch 1 and 2, by the design of the script provided by writer Cash Markman, who originated this "Bay Watch" knock-off series. Nonetheless, director Buck Adams, known for shooting from the hip and changing scripts around on the set, and wanting to lean "Babewatch" away from comedy, eliminated some of the humor and took the on-screen writing credit. "Creative differences" well in place, Markman would return, without credit, to write Babewatch 4, before leaving the series.
