    As You`d Expect

White block capitals appear telling us that Jane Seymour will be appearing which can only mean one of two things

1 ) We`re watching LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH AND FAMOUS

    2 ) We`re watching a TVM

    Fortunately we`re not watching number 1 . Unfortunately we`re watching number 2

Jane Seymour ( With a rough hairstyle ) is arrested and interrogated for the murder of her husband , and the cop leading the interrogation seems to think he`s Frank Drebin from NAKED GUN " Assault , armed roberry . He might not be a serial killer lady , but he`s not a candidate for mayor " . It also turns out Jane`s husband looks like Bruce Willis with hair and an eating disorder

As has been mentioned this is one very contrived thriller made for television . Silly in parts , very silly in parts and not at all realistic all the way through it`s the type of melodrama we come to expect from a made for television chick flick thriller where no one thought about employing a decent hair stylist for the production . At least we don`t have any sub plot about a child with an incurable disease

    Extremely Funny Movie.

It was apparent from the outset that here was a made for TV movie. I'd never heard of it before but decided to watch it anyway. I must say it was a lot of fun to watch, almost as if it was a spoof of a crime film. When you scrutinize the acting it seems fairly clear that nobody is at all sure of their lines, there are pauses all over the dialog where the actors seem to be giving themselves thinking time to remember what the scene is about! Many scenes made me laugh out loud but possibly the funniest one was near the beginning where Jane Seymour's character is working with 'troubled' children. For some reason these kids are painting everything in black, (they're troubled remember) but after a kind word from Jane they are smiling again with pinks and yellows. This has to be seen to be believed! Overall extremely funny, however it makes me question why anybody spends money on these awful scripts? Somebody very untalented is laughing their way to the bank!

    Not a good film

Not a good film. I've always liked Jane Seymour, but this movie did not come through. Maybe it was her hair cut? I stayed with it despite an annoying beginning, despite a lead character who I never warmed up to, despite a boring story line (maybe I've seen the same story too many times). So what did I come away with? Empathy for the prostitute? Yeah! I kinda liked Rita, not because of the script - which was forced throughout, but because the actress, Hayley DuMond, really pulled off a difficult role and she made us feel for her. I did! I felt for her. That's it! I don't recommend this film, but someone should give Ms. DuMond the shot at a lead role in a good film.

    Hoakey and contrived to perfection.

For me to enjoy a mystery, I need to feel that the events shown could actually happen. This feeling never happened once in this movie. The best acting in the movie was just so-so and most was terrible. Notable in this was James Farentino. No doubt the poor acting was caused by the director (James Keach) requiring so little. Aside from the generally poor acting was the poor script. Seldom did anyone act in a way that the average person would say is normal. For instance Jane Seymour is the chief suspect in her husband's murder because of an eye witness identifying her.She locates the person who looks somewhat like her but dosn't get her name. When she reports this to the police, she says that she didn't get her last name only the first-Rita. Later on the eve of her indictment she locates Rita again but instead of reporting to the police, she puts her in her own protective custody. The movie is so corny that in the only sex scene, there is magically a room full of lit candles just so we can figure out what theye're doing under the sheets. I gave the movie a rating of "2" only because of Jane Seymour's beauty and her passable acting. The rest of the movie was contrived to the point of pain.

    Film is Very Entertaining!

If you are a big fan of Jane Seymour,(Mary),"Joy of Natural Childbirth",'97, you will enjoy her great acting in this film and a story which will keep you glued to the TV Screen. Mary wants to improve her life and going to college is her main goal, however, she does not have the funds.

Suddenly she meets a guy named Paul who sweeps her off her feet and does everything in the world to please her. Paul marries her and sends her also to college and she becomes very successful and wants to start her own practice. It is at this point in her life that things start to change in her marriage. James Farentino,(Russo) and Hayley Mumond,(Rita), give great supporting roles and help make this film a strange and different film. Jane Seymour does put on a very sexy outfit to please her husband,Paul, who seems to like hot sexy Whores! Enjoy!
