This is one of the best cartoons on t.v. that seems as though it's being overshadowed by portions of Nickelodeon's other lame programmming (Rugrats, Spongebob, Catdog, and Wild Thornberries come to mind). Pelswick's guardian angel, and his grandmother are the funniest characters on the show all the way! The show may not be a Dexter's lab, or INVADER ZIM, (2 shows i also recomend!)but it's still worth checking out though it's a little weird.
Once in awhile, a show comes along that is distinctly different from ones that have come before it. "Pelswick" may just be one of those.
It's a children's half-hour cartoon show produced by Canadian animation company Nelvana about a 13-year old boy and his odd misadventures. Oh, and another thing, he's paralyzed.
Now, the unique thing about this is this is *NOT* the point of the show. In fact, it is barely mentioned. "Pelswick" strives to show that a teen in a wheelchair is just the same as a "regular" teen. Pelswick is in every way like a regular boy-- he has a crush on a girl at school, draws cartoons during class, and deals with the school bully.
Most of important all, though, is this show is *HILARIOUS*.
Through it's obscurity and unique humour, "Pelswick" is certain to entertain not only children, but people of other ages as well.
John Callahan, the creator, is a genius. I'd reccomend anyone to watch this show. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. ;P

If you have seen this show, you probably thought "This is weird". So did I. This show is good, but weird. The guardian angel character is weird. Pelswick's grandma is insane, but watching her in action is pretty entertaining. You might enjoy this show, but might think this show is weird.
I give this show a B.

This is a pretty good show. It may seem weird if you see a commercial for it, but when you actually watch the show, you will see it is weird. But that is far from a bad thing with this show. It has a good variety of characters. I recommend this show. You'll probably enjoy this show. I know I did.
This is a cinematic masterpiece truly above any other thing ever created. True art. God created this show in his own image Pelswick is God if god was a handicapped youth in a wheelchair. Gorgeous animation matched with brilliant writing and storytelling. Both hilarious and emotional.
