This episode in the Angry Kid series is a little different from the others and for one short movie that is quite nice. The kid has to tape a speech as if he is the queen but he fails every single time. In the meanwhile his sister is hanging in the Christmas tree behind him. The way the kid talks is very funny, the way he fails is very funny and his sister hanging there like an ornament is also very funny.

I sure love those silly Angry Kid short animations but this one is among the worst of the bunch. The Angry Kid acts like the queen, giving her Christmas adress to the nation in 1999. Obviously, he fails miserably, while his dad (?, it says 'director' on the credited cast on the IMDB pages) is messing with the camera and his kid sister is dangeling behind him in the christmas tree.

It's just not as funny as most of the other shorts by the Aardman folks, although I can think of worse things to do with a minute of free time... On the other hand, I can think of better things as well...
