This is perhaps the only show on Nickelodeon I took a liking to. With minimal effort and great voice acting, something truly amazing has been achieved with a great degree of originality. The creators have basically taken a bunch of kids dolls and toys including GI-Joes, Barbies and He man dolls and transformed them into a dysfunctional crime fighting team. The outcomes are hilarious and are pure genius. Gotta love the Diver's British accent and the Mayor being the villain. Even though the team keep on getting run over by vehicles again and again, I never seem to get tired of it. I would have imagined that this show would be quite popular but I guess that it was kinda short lived?
Yes, I do remember when Nickelodeon finally let "Action League Now!" become its own television series, after the mass popularity it got from being on "Kablam!" Friday nights. It was indeed a big mistake. For one thing, the show came on every Sunday afternoon at, like, 12:00, probably a time when no one was watching TV. Second, the show didn't have that spark it used to have, and the episodes were simply boring. The Flesh was perhaps the only thing that made me want to see this show on the account that he was stupid and wore no clothes. Thundergirl was pretty cool as well.
So, to Action League, your run was short, but you'll always hold a place in my heart...somewhere in my childhood.

I think Action League Now!! was the best part of Kablam! It's very very funny! The characters include the Flesh, he's super strong and super naked; ThunderGirl, she flies like thunder, wait a minute, thunder doesn't fly!; Stinky Diver former navy commando with an attitude as bad as his odor; Meltman with the power to uhhh... melt?; the Chief, the leader of the league, he's super bossy; Justice, He's the chief's loyal dog, he's also the smartest member of the league; Bill the lab guy, the dumbest scientist ever; the Mayor, the big bad guy; the narrator, and more. I really really really would like Kablam! and Action League Now!! back, on DVD, VHS, on TV, anything like that!!

- AnecdotesFlesh is actually a modified Conan the Adventurer doll, ThunderGirl is a Barbie mixed with a modified She-Ra and Stinky Diver is a GI-Joe "Shipwreck" action figure with his diving mask on backwards. Meltman is a melted GI Joe Cobra figure, most likely Cobra Soldier, Cobra Trooper, or Cobra Commander. The Chief and The Mayor are compilations of multiple Playschool People dolls.
- Crédits fousAfter the credits of every episode, a rocky surface in space is shown with "Chuckimation" carved out of a hill. The narrator for the show says "Filmed in Chuckimation!" The Flesh then gets chucked onto the logo, breaking it into pieces. He says "Ouchies!"
