Eli Wallach, Anne Jackson, and Romy Schneider are the guest stars of this ep of "Laugh-In"

The guest stars on this ep of "Laugh-In" are Eli Wallach, his wife Anne Jackson, and Romy Schneider. Ms. Schneider talks to Wolfgang, Gladys, and Goldie Hawn. Mr. Wallach has a funny sketch with Dick Martin at a testimonial dinner involving a couple of gangsters. There's also a musical number about that. This was a mostly amusing if not completely hilarious ep of "Laugh-In".

Anecdotes
At the end of the Joke Wall sequence in this episode, Dan Rowan tells Pamela Rodgers the beginning of a joke ("Pam, what would you do if you were on an airplane, and the wings caught fire, the engines fell off, and it started losing altitude very rapidly?"), and quickly added, "And watch your language." This was because, in the first take (seen in blooper reels, and also in censored form in the 1993 special, Laugh-In Past Christmas Present (1993)), Pam casually answered, "Listen, I'd just shit!" With that, she effectively brought down the house, explaining why Dan was barely able to control his laughter right before telling the joke in the final take (in which Pam correctly answered, "Well, I would sure get right off!").
