Alexa Nikolas scrutinized Drake Bell's cameo in one of her YouTube videos because of the age gap.

Gaffes
Zoey, Nicole, and Dana had to hold a fund raiser to get Drake Bell for their Spring Fling because the boys said the Spring Flings were always lame. But Chase said that the "school" paid for the band every year. The school, however, wouldn't pay or book for Drake Bell, because they choose to book a lame band. The whole point of the fundraiser is to raise money in order to book Drake Bell and avoid the latter playing at Spring Fling.
