I was not in the mood. I had planned to go out with some friends. But due to some reason i couldn't. Then I found this movie over internet. Well first, i thought its one of the stupid sen-ti romance films. But i was wrong. The movie starts with a rich, arrogant guy who had every happiness in his life.and a cute girl.She had everything in her little tiny winy eyes.She was poor and had anemia. The disease which was killing her slightly day by day. And the guy fell in love with her for her innocence.The movie taught us many things. Love is pure, not selfish. Though it hurts but at least once you should fall in it and then you will fell its magic. Watch it with your partner. She/He will love you more after watching it :)

I can only recommend this movie to those who like drama. The acting are good, the cast are perfect. Okay, I maybe a bit over the moon, but seriously the plot is great and unlike most drama, there is no unnecessary scene in this movie. I am a 40 years old male and usually into horror, yet I could not stop watching this movie and tried to comment here 3:30 in the morning.

I was wishing that the ending could be different, but for the perfectness of the movie, it just has to end the way it is. This movie shows that great movie is about great plot, cast with chemistry and beautiful scene. A great movies does not necessary big budget Peter Jackson's CGI action. Wish people can make more movie like this.

Warning: This is not another teenager love movie.

First of all, let me preface this with that I am not a fan of Hyun-bin and his work. That being said, this movie introduces a new first time actress Lee, Hyeon-hee. At times I felt like punching myself in the face because she was so adorable. Her tears conveyed emotion to me, not Visine eye drop solution. I will be eagerly awaiting any new movies she will be in.

Moving on to the actual movie, I was afraid this would be some sort of corny excuse to plaster the media with Hyun-bin's face; however, the movie itself is quite good.

The short but sweet love story really picks up in the 2nd half of the film. I would cry and laugh at the same time our lead and ingénue did. Very few movies leave me satisfied at the way the movie concluded, this is one of them.

Give it a shot, if not for the surprisingly good movie (albeit horribly titled) then for the ridiculously cute actress in her acting debut.

My last South Korean movie was 'My Sassy Girl' and it was pleasure some to watch it. Therefore, I went for 'A Millionaire's First Love'. The film grasps you in the beginning with some mild Asian action around an arrogant rich boy who cares less. He is legal heir to his late grandfather's fortune, who in turn has had kept some unturned dices in his kitty; his will.

From here on, the film carries on in a small town near Seoul where it embarks on an emotional journey of the lead characters. There are few funny scenes that go well with the movie. At several stages the characters deal with their past, like in 'My Sassy Girl' but, which is not completely expressed in the words of the characters but revealed through their emotion, which is pretty nice and emotional. One has to understand it to make out the past relation.

On the whole, this is a nice South Korean romance flick high on emotions. Go for it if you want a good time pass and emotional drama but only if you are not expecting much and any new. 6 out of 10.

The soppy melodrama movie starts quite funny with a spoilt rich kid from the city being taught a lesson by being sent to a small village school. Things move quickly as it's a movie not a series.

The lead actress Lee Yeon Hee acts well at only 18. Hyun Bin has come a long way since then so you can see he had to pay his dues acting in this early melodrama and he does a good job given the material and shows some range from playboy to caring compassionate lover.

It's full of clichés but in a good way. For fans of the two it's worth a watch. Not a great movie but okay for one watch.
