Simply the funniest mockumentary short film in existence. Subtle, cringeworthy with just enough truth to make you squirm.
According to Angus, he has a conundrum. His wife left him and as a single parent, he can't give the twins enough love and attention. So, his logical solution is figure out which of the little boys is "best" and heap all the love on that one! At least that way, figures Angus, one of them will turn out good! Angus prattles on and on about this parenting philosophy throughout this short film as you see him and his kids interacting.
I can almost guarantee that this film will offend some viewers--even though it was meant to be a comedy. That's because in this mockumentary Angus is the worst father yet he dispenses "wisdom" on how to properly raise his children. Because it's played so straight, I could imagine an impressionable person with no sense of humor actually believing that this is a real parent and then freaking out at this man's supposed insensitivity. Well, for me that's exactly why I enjoyed the film so much. Imagining the few knuckleheads watching it and becoming upset is awfully funny! Clever and provocative--this one made me chuckle!
