Gackt Live Tour 2005: Diabolos - Aien no Shi to Seiya no Namida

This video is a must. I've been a Gackt fan since back when he was in Malice Mizer and well this DVD is a must have. I'm really amazed with all his LIVE performance DVD's but this one being an amazing 3 hours long just blew me away. i highly recommend buying this DVD. Gackt is a kick ass singer and somewhat emotional and heart touching with his certain songs. but hey that just me lol... Gackt is also featured in a lot of Japanese television shows weekly and high percent of the time sings a one of his latest songs on the show. Utaban & Hey Hey Hey are a few of the shows he appears on. my equivalent perception is he is like the Rolling Stones here in the USA but Gackt in Japan. if you get my drift. i hope you decide to check out the DVD his performance its totally outstanding.

I've always watched Gackt's concerts with awe and fascination; the music; the performance; the dancing; the stage effects; the sheer presence of Gackt himself... It's true that he outdoes himself with each concert, each one special and brilliant in their own right. However, Diabolos Tour just combines it all for me. A complete Gackt experience, even my own non-Gackt-interested father enjoyed it! The power, effort and emotion that goes into his concerts are amazing (Not forgetting Gackt's quirky sense of humour for his half time shows!), and the performance speaks for itself. EVERY SHOULD WATCH IT AT LEAST ONCE!!

This concert is, by far, the best Gackt has done yet. Costumes, props, design, lighting, stage set-up... It's INTENSE and very cathartic to watch. It's giving me chills just thinking about it. If you have never seen one of his concerts, THIS IS THE ONE TO SEE. Not only is it impressive seeing him pour his heart out at a live, it's the first I have ever seen the main act race a horse at full tilt around the entire arena! Charging into a symbolic (which is also part of the story) battle, nostrils flaring, red leather coattails flying behind, it is intense! Then, when GacktJOB come up from behind, swords held high in pride and strength, I can see why a casting director for a period piece sought Gackt to play a warlord leader after this show.
