"3 is a Crowd" is a really good romantic comedy that I thoroughly enjoyed. The movie centers around three roommates, Lola (Lilian Esoro), Oma (Hauwa Allahbura), and Rita (Tana Adelana), who find themselves entangled in a love web with their neighbors, Bayo (Ifeany Kalu), Derrick (Alexx Ekubo), and Afam (Eddie Watson).
The chemistry between the characters is fantastic and they were also funny. One of the funniest moments in the film is when Lola and Afam have to negotiate their sleeping arrangements, and their antics and arguments had me in stitches.
But "3 is a Crowd" is not just about the laughs. The movie also explores some serious themes, such as hiding secrets from loved ones and the consequences that come with it. The subplot between Rita and Derrick, where he discovers her true profession and hires her for one night, is both dramatic and intriguing.
