Pyeongil Ohoo Seshiui Yeonin

I liked this show more than others. It started off a little strange for sure with the FL and her husband that was more in love with his birds than her. He treated her so bad, and paid absolutely no attention to her whatsoever. The show had enough comical script to make it funny with the duel meaning of the birds name - for example when the bird gets away and the biology teacher finds the FL outside looking for the bird - he says "are you looking for Love?" , etc. So funny and cute at times.

Usually I root for the person to get back with their husband but in this case I was really rooting for her to be able to be with the biology teacher. The other side love affairs with the other actors weren't as interesting - I thought Lee Sang Yeob did the best job getting the emotions across. Would recommend.

I don't like to write review but this drama made me write me one because it is very under rated drama. I cried and felt sad while and after watching this drama although it has a happy ending but the story will make you cry and specially when background music start. Actors have done marvellous job like they were born as that characters each and every episode you will feel for characters. I have never felt bored while watching this drama. I highly recommend you this drama to you guys it will be worth watching it. One of the best drama.

Surprisingly this show kept me interested for all 16 episodes. Considering it isn't as makjang as World of the Married or as brilliant as Love Marriage DIvorce, this series is still holds it's own in the adultery genre. It's realistic with normal people. Sure things could have been sped up by cutting out the flashbacks and maybe 2 hours from the ending quarter or so. Especially when the wronged spouses are so adamant about holding on. When it is good it is super good like the nail biting scenes like at the hotel.

There are 2 main adulterous loves. Firstly the younger lady and the biology teacher played by Lee Sang Yeob who had too many mournful looks. Secondly there is the elegant older woman with kids played by Ye JI Won who looks very slim and pretty and the painter. The more convincing love story is the latter one. Full of passion. The women both are married to men who take them for granted. Loved the character of the mother in law of the younger lady who has the funniest lines.

Worth a watch.

I'm glad I have come across this underrated gem! Love affairs in the afternoon is the Korean version of the Japanese 2014 drama Hirugao.

The storyline that covers so many layers from love to marriage, to family and then to the adultery.

No, it doesn't romanticize cheating but it shows you how alone a person can be.

You could feel the pain that the characters went through and see how their actions hurt them and the people around them while having an affair.

This drama also shows why we should think over and over again before we decide to get married.

The cinematography, setting, and the OST's added to why this drama is worth the watch. It helps you to get the mood and theme of the drama which is sad but romantic.

Just love the chemistry and acting of Lee Sang Yeob and Park Ha Sun. They make good couple. They both fit amazingly into introvert type of persons.

Both leads are introvert and honest characters. They both knew that being in an affair is not the right thing to do. But when they are with each other they express themselves better, they are happy. They are themselves.

The second leads did a great job as well. Choi Soo Aah and Do Ha Yoon affair looks really good on screen.

This show gave me a beautiful feeling and I will never be able to get over this drama. The way I felt while watching this drama is completely different. I have watched numerous dramas especially slow-burn dramas but this one always have a special place in my heart.

So far I only have seen 4 episodes of this drama-Love Affairs in the Afternoon.

Great cast and excellent two leads in Son Ji -Eun and Yoon Jung -woo!

PHs so very attractive and I can't remember seeing her before in other Korean dramas?

My only worry is whether this show will have a happy ending??

If it turns out to be sad or unhappy I know I would have wasted my time watching it!

I'm seriously not into disappointing endings of any sort.. Realistic drama and how tiring a marriage can be when you have a boring idiot for a husband !

Doesn't give his wife any credit or even say anything nice when he arrives home apart from how's the birds etc.. Very few marriages will survive if this goes on every day?

It is a high quality drama to say the least!!
