Tingle Monsters

Alex Serio is a firecracker of an artist. Tingle Monsters is a very smart, important film tackling the oftentimes dangerous mob mentality of the internet- and the objectification of women-not to mention the very real dangers we face off-screen. Excited to see many more films from Alex.

Saw this at Cinequest in March. Absolutely loved it. I feel it was made completely well in all aspects in the making of a short film.

This is filmmaking at it's finest. I sat stunned for several minutes in a crowded theater when I first watched this. The collective inhalation of breath from the audience when the story reveals itself was incredible. Not only does this leave you feeling creeped out, and stressed, but also it reveals the dark, sinister underbelly that we take for granted every day. A complete film from a powerhouse filmmaker. Concept, writing, and performance are all a 10. Watch this and pray that we see more from this filmmaker ASAP!

I've never been fully immersed in the huge phenomenon of ASMR, but I experienced enough to be chilled by this piece. Lovely direction, acting, and of course, sound design. Alexandra Serio and Kareem Rahma are ones to watch.

This short film takes a brilliant concept - an ASMR recording with an intruder- and adds a meta layer of internet menace that takes this to the next level. Searing, insightful, scary as hell.
