Punky Brewster

After a few oldies but goodies were rebooted and failed I was skeptical on this one. I however was pleasantly surprised that I actually enjoyed this throughly. I especially loved the fact that they kept true to the original Punky Brewster show. Bringing things back from that period of time was so nostalgic and heart warming! I knew exactly what each one meant and how important it was to the show. Not to mention Freddie has never been hard to look at! Great job and I hope there's more to come!!

Ok So I was really looking forward to seeing Cherie and Punky back again! And I do love the show, however aesthetically I am kind of disappointed that they let Punky's fashion spark sizzle. Her fashion is what made her stand out as Punky but now she dresses like a regular soccer mom just with mixed match converse. Even Margo whose signature look was to wear pink, was wearing a navy blue suit in her cameo, something that Margo would not be caught dead in. This show is off to a good start but it isn't great. Punky fans will definitely appreciate the nostalgia that each episode captures but there is still something missing besides Henry Warnimont, Betty Johnson and the real Brandon.

After watching the original series, I had to watch this new reboot. I was a little worried about this reboot, usually reboots to sitcoms aren't that good (example: Fuller House). But this wasn't bad. I actually really enjoyed it a lot. It was really well done for a reboot, it was nice to see old characters returning, there were references to the original series, it featured a bunch of things from the original series, and it even gave answers to unanswered questions from the original series. But there were some not so great things about this reboot. It was mainly because of gen z. There were a lot of cringe references to Fortnite, Tik Tok, "Ok Boomer" and more. Other than those unbearably cringe lines, there wasn't anything else that was bad. Overall, really enjoyed this reboot. Hopefully there will be a season 2.

There a lot of good and bad tv revivals these days (the equalizer was one and it was a real disappoinment), but this one is a very good revival, this one stars Soleil Moon Frye reprising her role as punky of course, this time as a single mom raising three kids and going thru the challenges of them when punky finds a orphan who reminds us of punky back in her time, cherie johnson reprise her role and she does a good job as well, although some of the editing is flawed, the premise is so good, the characters are way more developing and the scene which punky says morning henry, what a beautiful day was very affective, this is a very good revival and i'm gonna give a B+

I love it, is funny, cute, nostalgic and good acting. More seasons please
