"Marked" is a documentary that explores the reasons behind scarifications in Nigeria and how they intertwine with identity, beauty and spirituality.

Short documentary film on which Nadine Ibrahim worked for two years, inspired by the mark on her aunt's face, portrays the traditional scarification (zanukan/tsaga), widespread in Nigeria, but also a taboo, however, the aspect of beauty was the that Ibrahim wanted to defend.
