Souls

8 episodes of Souls and most of them slow-paced and the key to all that in last 2 mins of the show..Still, wait..it's worth it.

To be fair I would have cut some scenes and extended few other plot lines and characters but that's just my view. The surroundings, rain, river etc does remind one strongly of Dark, no time travel this time though, soul travel or reincarnation if you like, or rather the possibility of soul travel..

My personal favourite, Allie caught in the 'Zeitschleife' = Timeloop..it takes a while to figure out what's actually occurring. Sounds like groundhog day thing but far more sinister and depressing until...

Souls is a slow-paced, I found myself gripped not because of excitement but with curiosity to find out where this gloomy mystery drama about love, loss and reincarnation, would take me next.

The cinematography and acting is great and the story is unique, without being religious. It has some scenes that puzzle the brain, but that's a good thing. It does not have that big budget look about it or crazy special effects, or the overly sexualised nature of some shows, which is great.

If you like series like "Dark", you should definitely give this one a try, although it's of course not really comparable.

I liked it a lot and wish there would be more thoughtful and unique stuff like this out.

I binged watched this show in 2 nights. I really enjoyed it. It has a slow pace but the themes that emerge in this show are thought provoking to say the least.

The show is based on a central character who bridges the "three" stories together. The way this is done is very good. It is also worth noting that the story is not entirely chronological in nature.

The cinematography is on point as well as the acting. The colour grading is great as well. I don't have a bad word to say about this enchanting and strangely unique show.

Fans of Dark and 1899 will enjoy this show. Please watch in original German with English subtitles.

It has quite some wtf is happening there scenes, but that's a good thing to me. It's not one of those "seen it a thousand times" shows. It also does not have that big budget and no crazy special effects, but it also doesn't need any of it.

If you like series like "Dark", you should definitely give this one a try, although it's of course not really comparable.
