Avis à la une
Reliable characters who portray the tough lives of a group of riot police offices involved in several cases related to death and blackmail. Not to mention the plot regarding Internal Affairs and political corruption. Well done as usual in Movistar TV series.
Amazing, realistic series. When I thought it was going to be about random daily "adventures" of a bunch of riot policemen, it turned out a deep plot amazingly played by great actors, who portray with absolute realism the Spanish character and life.
Are All Cops B....as the Stefano Sollima's film made in 2012 suggested? If you watch closely both films, the topics and directing skills are very close, very...If not nearly similar. The true and so realistic way to describe the inner life and issues which street cops meet in the modern world, so close to what we see each week here, in France, where it is always question of brutality and violence pulled against or by policemen in their duty. This pure jewel from Spain doesn't only emphasize on the police burden but also on the social and politics problems, such as poverty, migrants, bribery, corruption spreading everywhere. Yes, this is defintely a social drama, more than a crime. Acting, directing, screenplay, everything is terrific. The only little drawback I would mention is in the fifth episode. But I will describe it on this episode comment line. Read it....

I just saw this Spanish television show and it seemed like a real masterpiece. Totally realistic and with actors of an amazing quality. The action scenes are spectacular. I loved it.
There has been so much good stuff from Spain recently. This is one of the better cop series and one of the best I have seen in any language.
I'd imagined that the story would focus on the everyday tasks of the riot squad and their interactions both amongst themselves and with the public. Indeed, the first episode, masterfully shot almost in documentary style, plunged us immediately into their work, this time to evict a family from a decaying building. As the storyline states, things go wrong and a man dies.
From here on in, Internal Affairs has a large part to play in the story and the narrative mainly switches from the squad's job as a reserve against disorder to how the investigation affects the members and their solidarity.
Despite their being plot twists, they are not easy to predict, although I got who was one of the secret baddies at the end of episode four (we know who most of the others are).
I liked the opening scene of the first episode which established Laia as a person who would take no nonsense and would insist on the truth whatever the cost. That's in a family situation and she is no less direct at work. However, she is not immune to making a deal with the devil to get her case solved.
I guess there will be a second season and I shall, on the strength of this, be watching it.
