Revenge Volume 2

Nica Noelle investigates the thin line between love and hate in the Gay Porn saga of hostile couples whose violence ends in lovemaking. It's a bit repetitive (due to the vignette structure of most Icon Male DVDs), but is better acted and more effective than most of the label's output.

Principal player is Zander Lane, who demonstrates good acting chops here. He's a power bottom, taking it up the rear in three of the four segments, concerning his amorous problems. In the opener he confronts his ex, Joseph Banks, and tongue-lashes him for having sex with his current flame Nic Sahara. Banks alibis his way out of this difficulty, resulting in a post-fight interracial sex scene with Lane.

Since Joe put the blame on Nic, Zander visits his lover and confronts him for being unfaithful -once again violence ensues but the boys just can't resist more humping.

A parallel story involves two hairy bears, Billy Santoro and his tenant Colby Jansen, as latter is about to move out after they proved to be incompatible. But another physical battle leads to reconciliation, as Colby humps Billy.

Final vignette creates some confusion, as Zander returns only now his lover is Santoro, who plays a character named Ted. I assumed this to be two new roles for the actors, unrelated to the three previous segments, but it's left ambiguous. Billy gets to be the top after bottoming opposite Colby, but as before our hero Zander prefers to take it in the rear.
