The Inside Talk

Having watched this I couldn't help but take on board some of what was said as it could very well prove useful going forwards. The guys and girls involved offer some sound opinions/advice and I for one am relatively happy I took the time to watch this after being told of it by a friend as I found it to be helpful even though not top dollar A-list names. I have to say well done though to those who took the time in partake in this as I know alot of actors simply don't want to help others out and feels like it's beneath them, so well done and wishing good luck to everyone behind this solid contribution.

Watched this and couldn't help but wonder why more films like this isn't made. Yes, it can seem a bit much at times , especially when the people involved are being real, but that is what you want to hear. Nobody wants to be told they can't do something, and they really don't want to be told something is impossible. That is where encouraging films like this comes in and talks about what it's like and helps offer advice on breaking in and things to do and not to do. There should be more like this out there, because acting can be hard at times and it can be a downer when things get tough. That's why I liked this, it's a reminder that you're not alone and that everybody can struggle at first when they break in, but not to give up. Overall, this is a little over an hour if sound advice and encouragement to pursue ones dream and reach for the stars. I like that, and that's why I gave it a 7/10 rating. The actors did real good and offered some nice advice and interesting personal details of their experiences - I liked that added touch. The producers not only did a good job in putting this together, but also I think it worked creatively and inspirationally, too. Well done to everyone involved and nice to see it did quite well at festivals. Very nice and worth the watch.

Saw this a few year ago at some festival and still remember the advice that was offered. The truth is that whilst it is hard breaking into acting and trying to become something, nobody should forget where they come from and always be willing to help others. I liked how the people seemed down to earth and how they didn't make a thing of their own success whilst offering important advice to people interested in breaking in. Their words is really useful to those making their way through the indie setting and doing low budget films or small roles on big productions. While this wasn't special or standout stuff, but this does the job and deserved it's recognition, no matter how minor.

After watching this 70 minute film I found myself questioning what I had spent my time doing. Some of the advice given was tasteless and could be considered harmful to the youth being a very toxic mindset, especially for the impressionable. I found myself taken aback by some of these people, how they could be considered "professional" is beyond me. Especially Mr. Sivewrite, I felt like he was just here one day and gone only three later, without contributing anything about his teachings to the conversation.

As someone with a degree in human ethics, I couldn't stand how these people considered themselves anything with the amount of pure privilege oozing out of then.

Downright disgraceful.
