Anecdotes
Filmed over a period of six months in the spring and summer of 2014, it took a further three years to be fully edited and released in 2017. After filming The Left Hand Path, Michael Fenton Crenshaw travelled to Death Valley in California to find suitable filming locations for his next project, House of the Laughing Cuckoo Clocks. He failed to return from California and was missing for a year. When he was finally located in Hamburg, Germany, he claimed to have no recollection of what happened during the period of time that he was missing.
