The theme of the Alzheimer's disease and its consequences treated in a rocambolesque and touching way.

All begins when Dora Saint Cast-the daughter of Alix Alix Saint Cast goes to the retirement home because her father Octave will celebrate the 50 years of marriage with his wife Alix: there she meets Iradj Mozafari-son of Farhad Mozafari, another resident of the retirement home and both discover that Alix and Farhad live a new love. Nevertheless Dora and Iradji travel with Farhad and Alix to the family estate where the golden wedding will take place.

Then begin the rocambolesque part of the film: the Mossad squad spying the the castle with drone, the arrival of Adam and the troubles of Fabrice with his wife Siri, the escape of Alix with her daughter Célestine, the arrival of VGE, the efforts of Octave to reconquest Alix, the picture of Nixon and other family secrets and on the morning the escape of Alix and Farhad.

I enjoyed very much the performances of Alice Taglioni, Babak Hmidian, Hélène Vincent, Bernard Verley, Nasser Memarzic, Christa Théret and Stancey Weber.

A French comedy mixing dementia, romance, politic, family secrets and party celebrating half of century marriage who works not so well .

Nice performances, good humor - sure, forced in a couple scenes -, a pledge for Iranians and an amusing portrait of Giscard d Estaing and three adult siblings in their way to maturity.

Sure, the last scene is the most seductive and touching, maybe the most inspired in this web in which the drama of an influent old diplomat is mixed with two gay romances.

Not original but pleasant and just Ok.

Not exactly original but pretty nice , crowned by a not so bad moral lesson and the taste of children improvised games.
