Njoro wa Uba

I'll keep it simple this is a superb show: amazing MAIN cast, enjoyable acting, and actually good writing. But the only thing that makes this show "cringeworthy" is the extras or guest actors who just can't act which makes the show briefly annoying but Joe Kinyua's acting is just something you can eat up. I'd have probably given it a 10 if they actually did auditions for the extras.

Unlike many Kenyan shows that try hard to recreate international shows, this is the most authentic. If you're a foreigner who wants to understand Kenyans properly, this is the show to watch. I also like that the show never feels stale in spite of the small main cast. Sure Njoro will always suffer, Odanga will always end up in a mess, and Jezebel will always find ways to be evil, but the show still feels fresh. The weekly concepts always bring up the freshness because they can keep up with the most recent trending topics.

Key thing: Authenticity. The show is made by Kenyans for Kenyans, not trying to penetrate other markets with forced English that feels like a theatre setting.

I saw the advert of the show on dstv over a friend's place and thought to check it out just to find it very interesting I watched 5 episodes at a go. What i like about the show at some point i forgot i was watching a tv show seems more of a reality tv. I loved it. Njoro the driver is quite funny and the jazebel adds quite a nice touch on it. A typical mother in law for most guys in kenya. The episodes have a flow all i would ask is to have it aired on local network. The only suggestion i would have is to increase each episode to at least 35minutes and also cover more scenes outside Njoro's work, more of his personal life outside work.
