A simple story, a touching film, a honest , graceful hommage to family and great portrait of loyalty. Maybe a prable, maybe a Sci. Fi. In essence just a profound beautiful film, for well craft and, more important, for the so useful message.

A beautifully animated vision of tomorrow

Robert is a small and cute social companion robot that behaves much like a dog. When the family is away, it plays and wanders around the house, patiently waiting for them to return home. This beautifully and hyper-realistically animated short film perfectly captures a pet's day-only this time, the pet is a robot. There isn't much of a plot, but it's one of those emotional, feel-good shorts. It's worth watching for the sheer quality of its execution alone. And it subtly prompts deeper reflection at a time when social robotics is slowly becoming a reality. What if our household robots really behave like this in the future?
