Self indulgent nonsense.

Watched this with a live choir and the film spoiled the music. Consists of poorly shot footage of flowers and plants, interspersed with biblical quotes and pictures of human suffering, the latter also being poorly shot footage. I wasn't expecting 'meaning' but some kind of emotional truth beyond the plainly obvious would've made a difference. Thought provoking from the perspective of asking 'what is film?' but that's a very low bar to clear. Spent the last 40 minutes of the film listening to the choir and waiting for it to finish. The whole thing felt like a self-indulgent con trick and a wasted opportunity.
