Captivating and does a great job of balancing out the subject matter and themes. I loved the western elements and the assemble cast. You like the main characters more and more as you watch the movie and you are very satisfied at the end. I recommend this one it's a good watch. Loved the dream sequences and the fantasy element. The direction and cinematography are great. You go from hunting sexual predators then spaghetti with Baba the Grandma and back to hunting. If you want something different and unique this one's worth checking out. Pleasantly different and a funky contrast from the Hollywood formula. The music really enhances the experience Christmas, Western and punk are a great mix for a movie.

James T North gives an absolute stunner for his first project. He has his own unique storytelling with hints of Tarantino and whiffs of the Coen Brothers. The dedication and detail he and the cast gave on this movie shows throughout and helps it shine.
Ryan and Austan have great chemistry and banter that keeps things rolling forward. Raymond gives a great performance as Lester. Peter Larney also plays his part extremely well. Mena does a great job in her part as Bella.
Overall, you can tell North was deliberate in every thing he did and put a lot of dedication into this movie. Give it a watch.

This movie is unique, entertaining, and unpredictable which is nice. It's better that a lot of the content on the streamers and tent pole theatricals. The cinematography is well done. I loved the chemistry between the two male leads and the mysteriousness and craziness of the female lead. Without spoiling anything, I got satisfaction from the way the sexual predators were dealt with. It was cool seeing Raymond J. Barry who usually plays a father or a cop in most movies (Tom Cruise' dad on Born on the Fourth of July) and shows (Arlo in Justified) play a totally different character. The dream sequences are awesome. The variety of locations and interesting characters was fun. I hope one of the streamers turns this into a series because I'd love to spend more time with the characters and see more of their mission. The Bella character could even get her own show. This isn't really a holiday movie although the story happens on Christmas Eve/Day, but I will definitely make watching this a new holiday tradition.
After 50 years of living in the South Bay this movie comes closest to capturing San Pedro, Palos Verdes and the beach cities. It's a beautiful movie that captures interesting and flawed characters. The energy and realism was very captivating. The craziness and mixed messages is captured very well. The music reflected the story and followed the pace and led the story so it made it feel perfectly woven together. The characters really fed off of each other. The guys Lars and Freddy have great chemistry as if they were brothers and can read each others minds. My favorite character was the Baba. The humor and cowboy elements really made this movie unique. The strip club was my favorite scene.
Love the homage to old school spaghetti westerns. Nothing like a good ol cowboy stand-off. Growing up with westerns and seeing how they treat on one of the predators I took enjoyment in the creative ways these vigilantes seek justice. I do feel bad for the one they hunt earlier on Lester I think they could have let him be. I think the female lead did a great job and is gonna cause a ruckus for those boys with how things are left. This Christmas western set in the South Bay did a good job at this slice of life that these people with vices seem to all have. I think the Grandma is the only one I trust!
