Hands Up

This movie is pure fantasy propaganda. Besides the acting, directing etc being beyond horrible, none of this ever happened in real life.

From the tired stock footage in the opening to the wooden over the top bad acting you can easily skip this mess.

I was expecting the movie to be about Black Lives Matter movement based off of the shooting of Mike Brown. Was I highly disappointed? Yes, yes I was. The movie didn't line up with the title. Very amateur directing and acting. Not worth the watch.

This was a great film. The acting was good and it featured a lot of real locations throughout the west side that made it very realistic. I will definitely watch it again. I'm glad I brought it instead of renting it!

B-movie quality based on a lie and poorly acted by bored kids. Not worth the free rental.

The topic and quality of this film are bad. This is a B movie at best, more like a high school play. The acting is bad, direction is amateur, plot is by crayons. Just as study after study shows, the hands up narrative used by Michael Brown is fake. If you remember, the title of the movie is taken from that case where a dozen witnesses said he had his hands up and was begging for his life when he was shot by the cop. At trial, they all recanted. Turns out he had just committed another felony and had assaulted the cop and tried to take his weapon when he was shot. This movie is that silliness played out on the big screen but with the lie intact. Skip it.
