Nickelodeon's best show in a while. Really happy with it! Plus, it has the girl who played Alex Mack from The Secret World of Alex Mack! And if people say it's bad, just don't listen to them. Most people who come on this website to write reviews just do it because they hate the show after watching the first episode and giving it a fair chance. It's a great show, and you should watch it before you go dissing on it. I am very excited for new episodes of the show next week. I remember seeing the first ever promo for this at this kids' choice awards when the cast of the monster high movie unveiled it.

When I started watching the first episode, I already saw that it was a copy of Drake and Josh, which is a series that I love. But I got interested, and kept watching. In the end, I realized that it wasn't 100% like Drake and Josh. But still, it's not a very good series.
It's a super cliché series, the classic family plot. Besides Natasha's character, it makes me SO ANGRY! It makes me want to punch her every time she appears. But, it has its positive points too. Unlike most Nick series, it doesn't have very random and meaningless things appearing out of nowhere. Like "Henry Danger". Even though the themes of the episodes are kind of random sometimes.
In the end, Erin & Aaron is a series that is neither good nor bad, it's somewhere in between.

Combines the set layout of Henry Danger with the Joke-VomitOfLaughter-Joke-VomitOfLaughter style of Two & a Half Men with exceedingly crass parents and with an irritatingly mean little girl in the likes of Drake & Josh and Henry Danger but without any of the charm or appeal of Megan and Piper. Determinedly watched all episodes and succeeded (taking several days in-between to recover). The presentation either calmed down a little by the seventh episode of I simply acclimated to it. Typically vapid modern-day adolescent pop music. (Loved only the hard rock guitar song about an astronaut dog by a competitor in episode 13 - sounded really good). Blame everything on the script, kept deliberately dumb but given high octane fuel. Cast seems all right (replaceable but competent). Highly unrealistic. Filled with lame ideas ('cause all the good ones have been taken?). Too much of an unrelenting formula pounded repeatedly into the public.
Apparently, good writers are scarce these days, and "Erin and Aaron" is a proof that Nickelodeon couldn't get anyone for this uninspired, lame show.
It's hard to find an intelligent line in this show composed by sketches already done before a hundred times. Instead, the show is filled with stupid situations like the little girl successfully bribing her art teacher with banned cookies to be granted with an A+ grade and other examples I prefer not to describe fully here. It's also really sad to watch Larisa Oleynik reciting dull dialogues and I can't understand why some so called writers find funny to include a boy with crutches just to mock at him.
As to Ava Ro, I can see she's got some talent for comedy and can sing a little, that's why it would be better for her to quit this nonsense and pursue some really worthy projects (see Olivia Rodrigo, she starred in a terrible Disney show and now she's got three Grammy Awards). The rest of the cast is like... nothing to see here (Sorry, Larisa).
Finally, I strongly advise you to skip this show. Nickelodeon won't give your 25 minutes per episode back and you should spend that time watching a real comedy instead.

I really wanted to like this. I love the actors already, Erin and Aaron's dynamic and growth is so promising, and the original music is so good! But everything else about this show... If it's not just bad writing, it's unoriginal. Everything moved way too fast in episode one alone. The best friend, the neighbor, and the little sister are annoying and uninspired and the parents are terrible at being parents. They never say no to their kids- that may be every kid's fantasy but it's just not entertaining.
I come from a blended family myself and i'd have loved to see that portrayed well for kids! But this show is seriously a let down
I hope it will get more seasons but i dont recommend it either. A concept like this deserves way better!
