2.0 Lucy

At first I confused it with the Scarlett Johansson 'Lucy' and thought of it as a sequel. Unfortunately, this is in no way a second part.

Looks like a very low budget indie movie with an interesting premise. Approximately 95% of the film happens inside some kind of a hut, with only 3 human characters, later joined by '2.0 Lucy'. Pure British English spoken by them was an awesome experience and a pleasure to listen to. Quite challenging to understand, though.

I liked the idea of a paleontologist discovering an ancient hibernating entity, and it was quite surprising that this person seemed to be more intelligent than humans, especially while looking and mostly behaving like one.

Definitely worth developing and investing some money in this film. Shame it's so poorly made. That's the only reason I rated it so low - it just wasn't fun to watch.

It began a bit slow but as the story unfolded I found myself liking it and the message it conveyed.

I felt the acting was pretty good. In other words, they took the job seriously despite the limitations of the script and location. With more money in the budget, no doubt the producers could have improved on those aspects a lot. I always appreciate the talent giving a good performance which can overcome a lot of the issues and problems any film might have. Good job.

I would have liked to see more exploration of the "cave woman's" culture and way of life but her adaptability in learning to use modern electronics was a nice twist.
