After the anarchic and slightly surreal TV Burp.

Harry Hill's World of TV looks like a cheaply made clips show and essentially that is what it is.

Although Harry goes through all the ingredients of how to make a soap opera. He looks back at the history of soaps from The Grover Family, The Newcomers to the early days of Coronation Street.

It is just recycled clips from the various soaps. Some more welcome than others. It was nice to see characters from Brookside and Crossroads again.

Eastenders has made a thing of the line 'It will be the best Christmas ever!' It is usually misery, disaster and violence. Even an episode of Doctor Who once poked fun of that line.

It just lacked the sideways fun element of Harry's previous shows. Also it might not be so enjoyable if you do not like soaps.
