Avis à la une
I spotted this film being discussed on an Aberdeen football message board and clicked on the links to you-tube for the preview of the film. As soon as this film was released on DVD i decided i must buy it and i was not disappointed.
This film is possibly one of the funniest i have ever seen, it is good for a local lad like myself as very few Scottish films feature our native Doric accent, which in my opinion makes the film what it is. The story line is simple yet well told and you just don't know whats going to happen next.
A must have for any Aberdonian or folk with an interest in Scottish comedy. The sooner this film is previewed in cinemas the better.

Quite simply an excellent piece of film-making. The film is a non stop riot from beginning to end. Based in Aberdeen, Scotland it is the story of two removal men who's apparently easy day turns out to be an absolute nightmare. Lot's of swearing, lots of un-intentional dead bodies and by heck a barrel load of laughs to wash it all down. The local dialect mentioned in previous reviews is Doric, it is native to the North-East of Scotland and actually isn't that difficult to pick up, thankfully as an Aberdonian I don't have a problem. Don't be put off by the dialect, this film is a riot! I would highly recommend purchasing/viewing this film.
I only became aware of this film when I started reading reviews on the Aberdeen Footy Mad website (just a viewer with me being a southerner!) The dialogue is spoken in "Doric" - north eastern Scottish dialect, but this actually adds an extra dimension to this unique comedy. The two main characters are perfect - just normal everyday blokes trying to scratch a living - until THIS day - when the farcical catalogue of errors just gets worse and worse with every move they make, leading to the ultimate conclusion. It is most definitely one of those films... the more you watch it, the funnier it gets. The language content is very strong - it contains more bad language than Goodfellas!! - but it is in good humour rather than being offensive. The dialogue between the two main characters is perfect, especially the scene where they discuss "who off the telly would you like to hit"!! I bought the film on recommendation only... and now I would recommend it to anyone - good to see such a funny film once again coming from the ever-increasing independent gang
I too come from Aberdeen,i was given this DVD by my brother and it sat in my cupboard for ages.Didn't realise i had one of the funniest films i have watched in years, don't say this often but laugh out loud,OK the accents are local but anybody from outside this area should still watch it.The interaction between the two leads is brilliant,a lot of swearing,no i mean A LOT,this just adds to the humour of the script.
Its good to see a lot of well known landmarks but the secret of the film is the day could start like this for millions of people everyday, its only when the first incident happens that things soon get totally out of control, stay with it right to the end as the ending sums up the luck of the two removal buddies.Thank you Bro.

i have watched this about 4 times so far, with different groups of friends and even with my parents! there was just the one moment when i cringed with embarrassment- you'll have to guess which but it involved the w word...Everyone so far has loved it and i'm not exaggerating...even my 2 English friends got all the dialogue- no subtitles needed even if it is in that quaint Scottish dialect known as doric. the record for sweariest movie is well deserved but that only adds to the humour and some of the location shots , particularly at the start, are quite literally breathtaking. what else can i say without giving the game away? its 2 guys in a van having one hell of a day really!
