Get the Girl

When I found out that writer/director/actor Chris Jai Alex made this film out of his own pocket I was blown away! The quality of the content, the performances and the blistering action is something you would see only from big budget studio movies.

Chris as the lead character, "Bash," was at once engaging, endearing and baddass! Sean Patrick Flanery was a boatload fun as "Mr. Fun." You can tell he was having a blast as the film's "big bad!"

But Sofie Norman as the psychotic henchwoman. "Benadette" comes close to stealing the show with her unhinged performance. She was truly terrifying!

All in all "Get the Girl" was a blast from start to finish! I can't wait to see what's next from Chris Jai Alex!

We went to see get the girl in theaters for the full film experience, and it was a ride! The story embarks down a heartfelt story, where multiple characters are building relationships based off a cruel world of terrible circumstances. One aspect focuses on the relationship between a gun for hire and his new protégé, and another a revenge story of a woman trying to escape the clutches of a mafia trafficking organization. Both stories intertwine and it allows for the viewers to really feel the weight of these characters lives. We hope for their happiness, but also understand that the world has taken a toll on them, and there may be no true respite for them in the end. No spoilers but this action story will take you on a ride into the world we despise exists, but will feel for anyway.

This film really took me by surprise! It is so freshly entertaining and exciting! I didnt' expect all too much of it going in, but I was at the edge of my seat right from the start!!! You're taken for a thrill-ride the entire time! Really no dull moments! The Action is stunningly shot (No one is phoning it in!) The story, cinematography and acting are equally Stellar! The film is so well done on all levels; especially with the budget that they had. As a matter of fact this is a better film than many of the big budget movies out there! It's way up there! At no time was I reminded that this has been created by a first time filmmaker! All super PRO! You'll feel refreshed too! I just had a SMIRK ON MY FACE THE ENTIRE FILM!

This was a really lovely film. I didn't go into it was expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Nice work! The acting was solid, and the characters were really fun to watch. I thought it was put together nicely and had really fun action sequences.

This film had a very diverse cast and it was a pleasure to watch in the theatre. I was impressed with the movie poster too!

Chris Jai Alex really brought a great group together to execute his vision in this poignant and powerful story about sex trafficking. After seeing this, I hope to see many more films from this man. He really pulled it all together and packaged this labor of love so incredibly well.

A lot of time work and effort went into this movie from this first time writer director Chris Jai Alex.

Has been great to see the script take shape and be developed into a full length feature film and now available to see on the big screen. Well done. Look forward to seeing more from this director.

Me being an Australian actress I really think it was different seeing how an American brilliant mine worked LOL I'm kind of making fun of my friend, but in all honesty, it was much better than I had anticipated, and I'm really just excited to see how he grows as a filmmaker, CJ, you'd better put me in your next Film :)

It's a great watch seriously in my unbiased opinion, it's entertaining and you should give it a shot

Without giving too much away, there's definitely a ? Next to be on the screen chemistry you'll know what I mean when that part happens, but it's hilarious and I think it paid off.

It amazes me that all the cast really pulled together to get a lot done and you can see everyone really wanted to be there. I don't know how they got to this quality of Film because I've seen share of Indies but they really put love into this Film . I'm so so proud and I'm singing praises all the way from Australia for my friend Chris Jai . Congratulations to the cast.
