Et encore un joyeux Noël !

I can only imagine that the rapid fire dialog is even funnier when you understand everything that is being said. Even so (with subtitles that is), the movie and its humor is silly and light - well overall, of course there are some heavier things going on too. The plot is predictable and you will know where this is going too. Not just because of the year things or the christmas theme and what it can mean to anyone.

The lead role is quite a powerhouse role and something the actor has to really engage in. And he does so with quite a lot of gusto and a lot of energy. He really gives it his all. There are some bits that may seem mean and some themes that are a bit more mature than the average viewer probably is, but everything stays within certain limits (no nudity, no blood to speak of and so forth). Take it with a grain of salt and just roll with it - especially during Christmas time (and even more so if you are familiar with the ... family situations that ensue)

Far exceeded my expectations. More original and touching. Plus the 'timeloop'-thing is unlike you have seen in other films.

Fun comedy with a great emotional attachment. I will watch this each year. I enjoyed every part of this film. Thank you for making a new Christmas classic.

Although the really bad dubbing into English will annoy you at first, please stick with it as it does get so much better. You will laugh and you will cry ... ugly tears. Destined to be a Netflix-Classic

Ok, I wasn't expecting this at all. I thought it was gonna be another "time-looping" movie, but it's more than that. It's funny, touching and has a beautiful message. Very good Brazilian comedy!
