Match

I just watched this on Tubi, knowing nothing about it, other than the scant plot synopsis. I'm a big fan of indie romantic dramas and I really liked the whole visual set up to this. It's basically a two-hander, with both of the main actors (both excellent, by the way), talking to each other (and us), via split screen and other filmic techniques.

I don't do spoilers, so I won't give anything away, except to say that this is so realistically written, that you really feel like you're being privy to a real life potential coupling, going through the whole gamut of emotions. My only real nitpick, is that I feel this does 'drag' a bit in the last 20 mins or so and that it could have been wrapped up a bit tighter IMHO.

But if you want a solidly-written, very well acted and interestingly-filmed romantic drama, that offers a very raw and telling story about the highs, lows and potential pitfalls of online dating? Then you should definitely check this out.
