Avis à la une
This review is from an adult point of view.
The series looks promising. It has an interesting storyline which happens to include outer space. It's filed with spacecrafts, an AI sidekick, new technology, gadgets, aliens and robots. What's not to like?
Plus it's endowed with fantastic CGI, I was expecting this to be entertaining. But after the 3rd episode, I found the two kids incredibly Annoying, with a capital "A".
Putting aside the kids for the moment, this could be a great series. The CGI is first rate. The look & feel gives me the same vibe as "Lightyear". The quality of the CGI of this series will give Pixar a run for their money
The storyline is also interesting, and due to its setting, they (writers) can go nuts with the storyline. Exposing us to as far as the creators' imagination can go. Filling us with new worlds and characters to their hearts' content.
But those kids, were not likeable at all. They came across as stubborn, undisciplined, and lacking total respect for the father (i.e. They don't listen). And considering the daughter is supposed to be somewhat of a genius with street smarts, ends up acting extremely dumb in many ways. My only hope is, as the series progresses, they (kids) will become more likeable. But after 3 episodes, not looking good so far.
VERDICT: It's a good watch, just ignore the two brats..., err, I meant, kids. Younger audiences will love it.

Being an adult of considerable years... I thoroughly enjoyed this cartoon.
The animation is absolutely amazing at times. It looks and moves as good as a high budget movie, some of the space scenes are beautifully done. The flashbacks in a different style really add to the overall.
The voice work is all excellent and really makes the characters come alive.
The story is interesting and drives the show from point to point adequately.
The soundtrack is Outstanding.. some amazing tunes and their use is absolutely excellent.
Now.. the downsides. If I was being harsh, I could point out the predictable nature and the overused family dramas of kids not liking their dad or the kids being a bit brattish etc.
BUT I can forgive the few minor points as the rest of the show is so so good.
I really hope for second season where they can step away a little from the typical kid dramas etc and get further into the space exploration.
Highly recommended for kids that like adventurous sci-fi and recommended for adults alike.

I just finished watching with my 7 yr old daughter.
She actually cried in the last episode and it tugged on my heartstrings too. That's the most fun I have had watching a series with her that felt like it was equally for both adults & kids. Fun and engaging story, AMAZING character design & style, great staging and just the right amount of Starwars homage but still managing to invent something totally new.
Few complaints about the voice acting for the kids which i agree with. The tone of the voice for the daughter lacked appeal and made her too bratty. Rest of the voices were great though.
Having worked in series myself people have to realize what an achievement this series is in a tight time frame and limited resources. The team have clearly poured their heart n soul into this one.

I watched this with the family and thoroughly enjoyed it. My Dad the Bounty Hunter is quick witted and quite humorous. The 3D-style animation works well and my hats off to the designers. I often found myself amazed by the detail paid to the characters' hair. Just check out the finely laid baby hairs and the jerry curl on an alien tiger if you don't believe me! The voice acting is also a real highlight. Voice acting doesn't get the recognition it should, but a gorgeous animation can fall flat if the voice acting is subpar. Everyone of the cast does a great job and really sells their part and the comedy. This is great for kids and/or adult fans of animation because cartoons aren't just for kids. Definitely recommend.
The art design here is amazing. The texture of the hair? Masterpiece. The story as is could've been a movie honestly as most of the 10 episode 80% of them the kids are just being brats while the dad gets exasperated and yet the feeling of consequence doesn't show itself until the later episodes. Pretty standard tbh.
It's an overall good family friendly drama that focuses on the dad and kids. The dad loves his kids. The kids lover their father. They just have a lack of communication due to the nature of the dad being a bounty hunter as per title. Happy ending with a hook for possible 2nd season.
IF you hate watching kids do their own thing without regard for consequence and act like they know what they're doing because nothing "bad" truly happens then this show isn't for you.
