Halloween Heroes is a creative and unique gem sure to become a Halloween cult classic in due time!
Now, it does have its problems, like too many scenes with those darn kids goofing around and not enough scenes with the movie's main antagonist...but speaking of the villian, what a villian he is!
Brutus Snively is a as fantastically acted as he is snappily dressed! Not only is he consistently entertaining with his brilliant performance, but his grand plan (I won't spoil it here!) is so conniving and insidious that he may just rank up there with some of the best villians in family friendly entertainment available today! He clearly deserves his own future spin off movie or, dare I say, series? Watch this movie and tell me you can't see the diabolical Brutus Snively going up against not just the titular Halloween Heroes, but hereos the like of The Justice League or The Avengers!! YES! Ehehehhehhh!!
The only flaw to this otherwise Halloween Masterpiece of a film is, as stated at the beginning of the review, the sheer spooktacular spectacle that is Brutus Snivley is seriously underused. Perhaps too much time is spent building up the heroes of the film, and the ending is a bit abrupt.
But I smell a franchise! If the creators of this gem know what's good for them, we will be seeing more of Snively in the near future...perhaps...next Halloween?
