Kate and Leif

At the first sight, a very eccentric story. Or, more exactly , more than eccentric. Sure, agalmatophylia can be a reasonable answer. A version of old fairy tales , in which the love has not usual forms is fair, to. But the realism of this short story is served by the smart explore of loneliness.

A window designer of a store, appreciated by her boss , ironized by her co-workers , enloved by a North soul, trapped in a plastic mannequin.

The basic virtue of this short film reminding Barbie adventures is the admirable acting of Clare McNulty. The second good point is the perfect atmosphere of 80s decade. In same measure, the mix of tension, romance and crumbs of horror represents part of seduction.

So, the happy, intense and tragic story of. Kate and Leif in skin of some cliches, kitsch and inspired ideas of script.
