Avis à la une
It's a lovely episode, showing a community based cop who is really trying to do good in the world. He clearly knows his neighbors well, and wants to help them do the right thing more than he wants to make arrests. It's a caring depiction of people's everyday ups and downs, and the cop who is trying to help them through it all.
I've given every episode of this show 10 out of 10, because it's incandescent. Just a brilliant, beautiful show. But I had some issues with this episode because it brings in magical surrealism/elements of folklore into the story without explaining its relevance. It seems slightly pandering, but I respect anyone who disagrees with that assessment.
Love the interactions between Bucky and Big. Wes Studi and Zahn McClarnon seem to enjoy themselves very much, it is a pleasure to watch them act. Love the warmer of the relationship between Cheese and Big. Big's job is to catch bad guys. But, for him, to borrow a truck without permission, when the owner don't use it, or to smoke some weed don't really make people bad persons. That philosophy, in view of the contempt Cheese shows for Big at the beginning, makes me question what is most important: being a smart person or being a good one ? The dialogs are great. Lane Factor is natural. Kirk Fox as Kenny Boy is always funny. Little Big is cute. Hope to see Bucky, Ray Ray and the Deer Lady again. And can't get enough of the talented and charismatic Mr. McClarnon.
Totally loved this show. Eight episodes is not enough. Funny. Touching. Great characters and stories. Will Jack is the greatest!
