    Loved it!

I loved this from start to finish, but I knew roughly what to expect, having already seen and loved Rikki Beadle-Blair's "Metrosexuality". So I knew that I HAD to watch it with sub-titles; this Canadian cannot follow the thick English slang at lightning-fast speed otherwise! Even with subtitles, I missed many of the references, but I got the gist clearly enough.

While some might find the movie a little too earnest and at times preachy, I thought it did a great job bringing these stories to life in powerful and entertaining way.

Divided into episodes, it approaches the overlapping stories from different viewpoints, and tries to show that some kind of resolution, even if not yet found, is possible.

The performances are powerful and believable. The angst and bravado felt very real, and the internal conflicts really came through.

Highly recommended. Rikki Beadle-Blair is a GOD!

One of the worst films ever created.

This film is one of the worst films of all time. Im not gonna go in depth but Ill do short bullet point reasons to why I have this opinion on this awful, AWFUL Movie.
    • Garbage Acting, none of these actors are good in any way. None can say their lines naturally and all the lines feel forced and unrealistic.
    • Awful characters, none of the characters are likeable or memorable in any way and are all based on boring, clichèd sterotypes and none make a connection with the viewer.
    • Repetative soundtrack, the same three or four note guitar song is played so many times through the entire movie and gets really repetative. All the other songs are really forced and do not fit in with the movie at all.
    • The Editing, the editing is all over the place. Constant cuts, out of focus shotd and this really weird dark filter which is really distracting and does not fit.
    • The Directing, just like the editing the directing is all over the place. Really inconsistent and has a really annoying style to it.
    • Some of the worst writing I have ever seen, All of the writing is so forced and has no subtle whatsoever. Its so cringey and mixed in with the awful, awful acting makes it really hard to watch.
    • Sound Mixing, the sound mixing is so bad. Some songs are so noticeable louder than the dialouge or other songs that it becomes really annoying and repetative. Especially those guitar chords.
    • Effects, the make up and effects are awful, the blood on the characters are so awful and looks so cheap and fake.
I could go on and on but just to summerise it, avoid it at all costs. It has a good cause behind it but that doesnt make it a good film. Not. One. Bit.

One of the worst fils i have ever seen

so i was unfortunate enough too have to watch this in my PSHEE lesson at school i get the message they are trying to spread here i don't have a problem with that but what i do have a problem with is how they portray the characters they make it like if you are straight you are a bad person you can tell that with the way they portray the character Isaac. i also hate the acting hate the camera work and hate the editing none of the actors can act that well at all with there cringy catch phrases like "dikey dikey we no likey' and putting the words man and bruv in every sentence it seems. the camera work is terrible like at one point the camera man suddenly points the camera down and films someones shoes and editing random jump cuts while going up or down stairs or going through doors annoying looping music and guitar strums they probably found on the YouTube audio library. me and my friend both hate this film so in my opinion this is just another lazy acting, bad quality probably funded by the national lottery film.

    Some poor filmmaking...

'Fit' has an important message, this is that it really doesn't matter if your gay or straight. And the way it does this is quite clever, by taking more than half of dozen characters, developing them as gay and then in the next act, their sexuality is being questioned as they might not actually be gay (if that makes any sense). Intended to show that it doesn't really matter. But throughout the film, the constant use of cheesy guitar chords, confusing editing and worst of all bad acting puts this good technique to bed. Particularly from the guy who plays Jordan's boyfriend, who can't act to save his skin. There are also some really wobbly pieces of dialogue and some really generic directing. Sure, if you want 'an educational film', watch this. But if want you want a good film, don't.

    Nice 'educational' movie

I rented this movie but then made the mistake to check the IMDb rating. It was at 5.4. I was not expecting much but ended watching the whole movie and pleased that I did so. You follow the different stories of teenagers coming to terms with their sexuality and their acceptance of others. It was a bit too 'educational' to me at some points (you get the typical question: what is the difference between a cross dresser, a trans-gender and a drag queen!) and sure that the movie is aimed at a teenager crowd, but the acting is well done, especially the dance teacher. Dancing is the rally point for all the characters and is used as a theater of life. Again, well done. For all of this, I give this movie a 8 out of 10.

When Karmel is talking to her parents, the film they are watching is Kickoff (2011), with the "Kiss him!" scene being clearly audible. KickOff is a movie by the same director, Rikki Beadle Blair and most of the same cast. Interestingly, KickOff came out one year after FIT.
