Lucy and the Lake Monster

I found this movie very delightful,been a long time since à good moralsetting child setting movie has been displaced..honestly blown away by the story line ,captured my attention all the way thru,never wanting to miss a moment,,hurray to the directors,actors,and producers an,writers. .quite delightful.hopefully every child will be able to have this movie present to them in their lives,for the imagation growth ,creativity and thoughtfulness it relates is awesome..capturing attention of the children is a vitual point in movie watching,I know it is a well put together scenery, an story telling was quite basic yet able to catch ,understand and teach many the (story) morals and theme telling of this movie..I find it wasn't a waste of time to watch..recommend it the any age...

"Lucy & the Lake Monster" is one of the finest films I've seen this year. The core of this heartfelt drama is the relationship between Papa, the grandfather, (Richard Rossi) and his nine year-old granddaughter Lucy (Emma Pearson). They have the type of loving relationship every child needs with a parent or grandparent.

It's a wonderful movie for children, but also for everyone, because Papa and Lucy's adventure searching for the sea creature Champ is compelling to all ages.

The setting of the Lake Champlain region of New York and Vermont was gorgeous, and the scenery was displayed with breathtaking cinematography.

The music is fantastic. After leaving the theater in New York, we found ourselves singing the theme song, "You, Champ, and Me." When the rocking toe-tapper "Lago Time" played in the film, many in the audience were clapping, moving their arms, and some even danced in the aisles to the infectious beat.

This is a simple, but very powerful film and I found the relationship between Lucy and her grandfather especially touching.

Fills you with delight and wonder. A happy story that makes you smile over and over again. The characters are authentic and fun to follow. Oh, the scenery and music brings you into the story.

Embracing the genuine feelings of wonder we had in our youth. Believe, follow your heart. You never know what you will find.

The film that won't disappoint and worth seeing for sure!! A gift for all ages to enjoy. Treat yourself and those you love to this wonderful movie.

Great movie , very well done , great life lessons shared by papa ,really enjoyed it , little Lucy was a priceless gem , dreams that are anchored to eternal truth become visions of grace .

I was reminded of the power of prayer , that enables us to see through the eyes of faith .

We all need mentors who reflect the love of God as they see us with his eyes .

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not into your own understanding , in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path .

Lucy and the Lake Monster is a wonderful movie for the entire family. It is an uplifting, encouraging, and sweet film. The relationship between Lucy and her PaPa is magical and tender. Their chemistry as grandfather and granddaughter will definitely warm your heart. Loved the movie and highly recommend it!!! It's a movie of hope and faith ... of the need to always have that "childlike faith." The actors in this film were spectacular and made me feel as if I were a part of their lives in this film. So many blessings throughout the film of morality and goodness to others - how to treat others even in the hardest of times. Wonderful movie!
