Infiltrée

I've been wanting to watch this indie movie for some time now. I finally pulled the trigger. And was I pleasantly surprised. Most of the actors are new or not even actors at all some were pulled from the street.

Starts off slow but gradually gains some momentum and I couldn't look away I wanted to know what was going to happen next. Very well acted and the production was decent given the limited budget.

The only bad thing I would say about this movie was some of the actors you voukd tell never acted before and definitely noticed. But most did a great job at what they were working with.

Give this movie a go I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. These little indie flicks don't get enough love.

Cadejo Blanco directed by Justin Lerner is a beautifully written film about the underground world of gangs in a small town in Guatemala beautifully depicted by a cast of actors (some amateurs) who are clearly very committed to their roles. The story is full of twists and surprised and the cinematography is gorgeous. Was deservedly nominated for the Cassavetes Award at the Independent Spirits and should have a long life on streaming as it finds its audience. Also really hope to see Karen Martinez in more films. Not an easy movie to watch but definitely worth it. Hoping for sequels and maybe a television spin-off!
