The film's satirical take, use of real events, and blending of fact with fiction are noted. Critics cite low production values, inconsistent acting, and perceived bias, while others praise its satirical approach and controversial topic coverage. Reactions are polarized, with some finding it entertaining and insightful, and others viewing it as propagandistic and poorly executed.
Avis à la une
Tells a true story in a comedic style
Like the big short , is a Biographical drama that uses a comedic style to tell a story .It focuses on the role politics plays in shaping morality, ethics, and manifestations of good and evil is especially important for American culture.
Its individualism is much more savvy at pointing the blame at particular individuals-and rarely at particular industries funding these organizations. By no means do I want to suggest that only the Biden's were responsible for such wide scale pain .
It should not be looked at more generously or be held to a lower standard of accountability. But I do think it's important that we do the much harder work of thinking about the organizational political culture and that produced such monsters .
As it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a village idiot to destroy one ,an important lesson about the vital role that political cultures play in shaping the world-for both good and evil.
When we see incidents of inequality in the workplace for example, do we immediately seek to isolate-and eliminate-the individuals involved or will we also consider the many political policies and influencing donors along the way who played a supporting role in creating the situation from the beginning .
These are tough questions with even tougher answers, but lasting cultural change and the moral character of our country is at stake when we try to simply convict the villain while ignoring the village.#godsavetheking (you know who that is )

Art Film That Raises Questions
My reaction to the film is both good and bad. The film opens with the disclaimer this is a not a true story, except for the facts" That really seems to be the point of the film. The fictional narrative is a device used to help make sense and flesh out a variety of characters, relationships and complex schemes we may have heard bantered about in the press. It's not an Oliver Stone political blockbuster like JFK but it's certainly more entertaining than Tom Hanks snoozer "The Post." Even with several compelling performances, the film has an aura of low budget amateurishness about it as it is often just too on the nose but certainly not without style. In a way, that really works for "My Son Hunter." Even with it's flaws, it's a fun film. Yet after watching, I was left wondering, was I cringing in parts because of the movie or because what the Biden's got up to was so bad? This film is it's own animal. It's satire blended with facts designed to get the audience to dig deeper into a problem a politically polarized media has purposely tried to ignore and suppress. It's obvious the film maker meant this as a "Wake up you idiots" slap in the face to those who failed to do their job for the sake of getting the"Orange Man out." In that regard my hat is off to a film maker who dared do what professional in the press would not. Those with political leanings one way or the other may praise or pan the film depending on their bias. I'd encourage everyone to give it a watch and make up their own mind. If only half the facts presented in this movie were true, and I suspect that may be an understatement, this would make the film a powerful piece worthy of serious follow up... this time.
Really harkens back to the old lovable bad movies
This film has everything. It was clearly written by someone who doesn't really know much about film, didn't have nearly enough of a budget for the job, starred actors who have divebombed their careers, and seems like it had a legal team struggling to avoid getting sued.
You will watch and think, "that line almost sounded like a sentence a human would say, good work", "that sentence wasn't just exposition, high-fives all around", "that camera angle showed the things happening in the scene, superb", "this scene wasn't clearly written by a person who has never seen a drug outside of TV", "so this is what your career came too? You used to have a TV show", "that was an honest try at humor", and many more encouraging phrases.
Also they included an ad for the producers website in the middle of the movie, (a character turns to the camera and says to use the website) you gotta respect the hustle.

worth a watch
A funny and often shocking look into the wild life of Hunter Biden.
In this world of shock culture some scenes are dramatic and over the top.
The underlying story of information suppression in a time when transparency was needed is shocking.
Lawrence fox puts in a great performance as Hunter.
Good side support and great camera work in the club scenes.
Blame orange man for any tiny indiscretion and hide any wrongs from other side.
As a neutral it's terrifying the power big media possess. Even the fact that this movie isn't on cinemas due to left wing bias is enough to turn it into a must watch classic of it's time.
Worth a watch whatever side of politics you are on.

Where do I even begin
This project is absolutely tragic from beginning to end. The cast is a combination of washed up has-beens and actors that never really took off. Laurence Fox, for example, has long been a talentless ham who only got put into movies and shows because his family is some kind of UK acting royalty (a true "nepo baby"). Judging by his twitter feed, it appears he is now moving on to politics, and I'm sure he'll fail just as badly in that as he did in acting. Gina Carano shows once again that it was really only her athletic skills as a MMA fighter that got her movie & television roles - since this isn't an action movie, we are instead subjected to her wooden acting which is even worse than that of "Lozza" Fox. I'll give it 2 stars because it's competently filmed, but when it all comes down to it, it's just a crude attack by people who are angry that their little laptop story didn't have the same effect as "her e-mails". That's all it really is. Best to skip it and spend your time watching better movies.
