Avis à la une
I just finished watching Goosebumps on Disney+ which wasn't perfect but had a decent plot line and mostly fine acting. This series came up as a recommendation afterwards. The plot sounded similar, with death and disappearances, young cast, mystery, along with an interesting premise.
Sadly, it is not as well produced, especially from Disney, which usually has that magic touch to anything it produces. This suffers from cliche characters, slow progression, and the characters and acting are like in a bad telenovela. Serious or scary plot points were ruined by this insane need to be comedic at the wrong times, and most of all there were absolutely no characters you felt invested in because they were just stupid.
There was a huge mystery hanging over this town with an abandoned amusement park but very few adults try to be involved to find out what's going on, so it's all left to immature kids. The storyline improves a little by Season 2, but you still have do deal with the baffling characters, and subpar writing and acting.
Seriously, Find something better to watch. Season 1 has English dubbing, but season 2 does not, so it is Spanish with English subtitles. Another sloppy annoyance. While it may have been recommended to Goosebumps viewers, it is not of equal quality.

The Disney series Tierra incógnita has fun, suspense, terror and a good cast in the right proportion with a well-constructed setting and special effects. The entire story, enigmas and characters are engaging and we can't stop watching. The daughter of the missing couple has an exceptional role and brings a rare and interesting mental health problem that can be overcome. Of course it has its problems, but nothing that gets in the way of the fun. Anyone who liked the Strange Things series should like it too. Waiting for Disney to release the second season as the ending left many interesting plot points.
I think the currently score of 4.8 is very generous. The plot is a fairly interesting premise. The locations are pretty and some of the sets look like a good horror fun park, or halloween interactive event. But there are quite a few issues with the show. The dubbing is really poor, with the voices going from over - emphasis on one hand to lacklustre bored sounding performances on the other. I don't know if it is due to the script itself or if they have used Google translate to transition it to English. The acting reminds me of a low budget B-movie or school play. Which doesn't endeer you to any of the characters. More than anything else though, the main characters are just plain annoying.
I found Tierra Incognita very interesting and a goos use of my time. Its a teenish story, but i found pretty solid and interesting. Reminded me a lot of Lost, but have a more consistent script. I liked especially the fact that it is latin serie that goes beyond the obvious. I don't think it is a "horror" story, more like a suspense - i didn't find it scary, but was caught enought to keep watching episode after episode. I was involved with the characters from the beggining until the end (abd also angry at some lol like all good series). I would recommend watching with heart open for something new. Excited for season 2!
It begins with a vision of the characters, who are very varied and I think they have achieved their particularity. I love Eric, Uma and Pablo. Grandparents stand out too. As the plot progresses you begin to hate Daniel and others that I won't say so as not to advance too El misterio es destacable. The mystery is remarkable. The terror at first is not so great but I assure you that in the end he reaches ecstasy successfully. I think the series is great. Fully recommended. As the chapters go by, the terror and intrigue increase and the end asks for another season. Wonderful. I really liked the scene at the end of the credits. Do not miss it.
