Here's another F13th fan film. This one's OK. The acting is ok, story is fine, costume of Jason is decent and it's a competent short film.
The only problem with it is it does the big no-no of trying to re-invent the wheel. Meaning it takes place I guess in 2016, and is trying to change the film history and lorel to Jason drowned in the lake around the year 2000.
Just DO NOT try to do that with these films. Nobody wants reboots that start with a new clean slate of any kind.
Apart from that, it's OK. The story is of a couple of kids at Camp Crystal Lake hear that the lake is supposedly haunted by Jason. When they ask the camp counsellors to confirm the story, they tell them a story around the camp fire of how Jason drowned and what happened a few years later when a group of youngsters by the camp site to fix it up for reopening.
Could've continued longer in a second act, but it is what it is.
Worth at least one watch for anyone interested. It's free to watch on YouTube.
