two couples

A venerable house. Two couples, from different periodes, interfering . The connection between ladies, the selfishness of husbands, the radical solution of wifes.

A Gothic film, seductive first for house + its rooms, atmosphere, halls and the picture of previous owner of it.

Second - for naturalism.

The fight in garden as discover of the inhabitants from lost time is one of the basic virtues of film.

And, the reactions, as continue story of the man looking for control his wife , preocuped only by himself and feeding same marriage crisis, only the forms being different.

In short, well crafted short gothic story, the end seeming forced, the suggestion of domination of venerable lady working not exactly perfect. But, good actors, correct story.
