Single Kiasi

The show has an amazing cast and it is clear that a lot of thought went into each scene's setting. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the plot. It progresses at a pace far too fast to be considered immersive for a drama series. It sometimes feels as if the show is a summary or review of some original somewhere.

While the creators obviously had their reasons for selecting that style of storytelling, the absence of some mundane details came at a huge risk of lacking relatability. This may make it easily forgettable and easy to dismiss. But it still has huge potential and kudos to all involved in its production.

While the series boasts a talented cast and impressive visuals, some critics note that certain plotlines, especially in the third season, feel repetitive and lack depth. Despite these critiques, "Single Kiasi" has ventured into bold storytelling, addressing complex themes and showcasing the dynamic nature of friendships and personal growth.

I really enjoyed the show, but after watching Unmarried (Nigerian series), I lost some respect for the show. If you watch just the first episode of unmarried, the plot is EXACTLY THE SAME as that for Single kiasi. I don't know who copied who, but there was clearly a lack of originality.

It made me wonder if maybe the producers are the same and wanted to tap into the different market niches? What could be the reason for the same plot for two different shows in two different countries? I wish I could get an answer to this because I felt cheated after watching a very similar show acted and produced in another country.

Beautiful cast. Hilarious and full of twists. Has so many real life scenarios.

I applaud the writes and actors. All whom are involved a massive job well done. One of my favourite shows internationally.

Covers many dating scenarios good and bad. Shows the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Shows Kenya's hotspots. Definitely places I'd like to visit. Naivasha for sure. For the diaspora it's a nice way to stay connected to Kenya's party scene socialising scene and most valuable the latest slang. Taught me a lot of words that are currently popular that I wouldn't have known. Love love the show.
